Kathmandu, April 13: The tremor of powerful Myanmar earthquake that rocked a bordering place between Myanmar and India on Wednesday at 7:40 pm is also felt in Nepal.
A strong shaking of the quake, measuring 7 on the Richter scale, was felt more in the eastern part of Nepal compared to the Kathmandu Valley, according to Lok Bijaya Adhikari, Chief of National Seismological Centre.
Although the tremor pushed many people out of their houses in Biratnagar, no casualties and damages on physical infrastructures were reported yet, according to the District Police Office, Morang. RSS
